Lovely photos and lovely person! We had Alyssa come to our home to capture newborn photos with our baby boy and the results are stunning! She helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera and had such great prompts and ideas to help us capture beautiful, but natural, photos of our new little family! She even was able to get our dog in a few! We would recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer and will certainly use her again!

We just received a sneak peek from our shoot with Alyssa and, WOW! They are incredibly gorgeous. The shoot itself was an absolute blast! Alyssa made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, despite us feeling a bit nervous before we started. In order to secure a tentitive newborn session date on my calendar, I require a $200 retainer, payable by etransfer, paypal, or credit card, along with your signed contract.
HOW DO we book and secure our session?
It's best to book your session at the beginning of your second trimester, but if you're already past that don't hesitate to reach out! When you book, we tentatively schedule you in for the week following your due date and once baby is here we finalize the session date. I only take on a set number of sessions a month to ensure we can choose a date that works for everyone involved.

My style is simplistic and natural, focusing on capturing the love for this new baby and all the details that make them so special so I tend to use very few props. I do bring a selection of swaddles, knit blankets and simple onesies.
DO YOU PROVIDE PROPS AND BLANKETS?
Of course! I typically recommend simple, comfortable pieces in muted tones. Timeless styles photograph beautifully and keep the focus on your connection. If you'd like help choosing specific outfits, I'm happy to help - just reach out!
WILL YOU HELP ME DRESS THE REST OF MY FAMILY?
I rarely reschedule sessions, however, since I shoot with natural light, if it is going to be a very dark, stormy day, we will reschedule for the next closest day that works for both of us.
WILL MY SESSION BE RESCHEDULED DUE TO BAD WEATHER?
My newborn sessions usually take around 2 hours. New babies can be unpredictable and I never want to rush a session, I am very flexible and will move at your baby's pace!
HOW LONG WILL THE SESSION TAKE?
Most definitely! All packages include full-resolution images for you to print and share as much as you'd like! You will see that I also offer prints and products through your personal online gallery. The printing service I offer is through an amazing lab based out of Toronto. All products are printed and manufactured in Canada and are incredibly high quality.
can we print our photos ourselves?
Absolutely! A main focus of my newborn photography is capturing your whole family making beautiful memories with your new baby - this can even include well-behaved pets!
WILL MY PARTNER AND/OR OTHER CHILDREN BE INCLUDED IN THE session?
The sweet spot for newborn sessions is 7-14 days old. However, there is no bad time to capture memories with your new baby and I've photographed newborn sessions with babies as old as 8 weeks.
HOW OLD SHOULD MY BABY BE FOR THEIR SESSION?
My newborn session take place either in-home or in studio. Most families choose to do these in-home where they are cozy and comfortable but the choice is yours. If you choose a studio session there is an additional studio fee depending on the space, we will work together to decide which is a better fit for you.
